A slightly different challenge this time: to review this film. I wanted to create an even starting point and necessitate the submission of new reviews by choosing a film with none currently, but since I think this will lend itself to good reviews, I'm going to go ahead with it anyway. It also does not have a free I.M.D.B. page, so people will have to make a bit more effort to find out what it's about.

Like all challenges, this will be completely open-ended, due to the (admittedly decreasing) delay in approvals and the fact that inspiration does not come at will. Good luck!

Genius - Home - Family = Sadness

Now let's just hope it gets approved.

I remember the Ramanujan cab number 1729 story from high school, over 35 years ago! The word "genius" doesn't even begin to describe him. Can't see this doing boffo box office, but his life is far more interesting than "A Beautiful Mind", so one can hope. Two reviews in the hopper:

Formulaic biography.
Cab 1729? Interesting number.

Oh no! I forgot to resubmit my review from long ago once I added this film. I've resubmitted now, but I'd much rather have the older date. Benj, if you happen to have the chance, could you please look at my oldest pending review? It should be a no-brainer for approval.

Edit: Actually, my non-pre-resubmission only makes things fairer for this round anyway.

I had submitted "From zero to 1/0" as Ramanujam started as a nobody and ended up as a man who knew infinity. It has been rejected and I've resubbed it as "From zero to x/0."

Nice. My own is still my favourite so far, though...

I'd forgotten that story. I just love this guy. If this film doesn't get made, I'll be gutted.

Pending for that movie, I've submitted:

To Ramanujan, and beyond.

(In reference to Buzz Lightyear's famous quote from the Toy Story movies.)

I have had a review for this movie for a long while now. It was originally rejected, and is now awaiting a second look.

Bit disappointed that no MERPs have been so kind as to process reviews for this film. (Benj has reassociated my oldest pending review(s) with the correct link, though - thank you.)

Only problem is, 1/0 (or x/0) is not infinity. It's not anything, it's just undefined.

Yeah, yeah. It's a closer approximation than many uses on this site, and Ramanujan did not actually 'know' infinity anyway.

I knew infinity. Infinity was a friend of mine. 1/0, you're no infinity.
