| Nice idea, Monty, but I can't really participate, since I'm one of those guys who rarely reviews a movie twice. [Smithee has quite a few of my rejects to prove it!] But anything that promotes voting is OK by me, so...my favorite review. If I see some whacking, I'm gonna go back into this thread and reciprocate. |

S'okay, Yuke, you tried. So the Voting Hammer comes out anyway...
As noted, this game doesn't really work for me because I'm an accolade fan, and collecting them requires reviewing lots of different flicks -- for me, usually one review at a time. But to each hisser own, and as I said, I'm for anything that encourages voting! |

I just want to check what it is we're supposed to be doing here.
I got several votes for my reviews for the film I selected, thanks, but for another film, which Chocky selected, I have 14 reviews which didn't get a single vote between them.
Can someone explain that to me?  And before you say its because they're rubbish , they have a total of 150 votes between them.
Aren't we supposed to be voting for ALL the reviews of a film or just that reviewer's reviews?
And shouldn't there be a rule about the order the reviews are shown in? Are we really going to let TFB get away with putting his reviews at the top?

Although I prefer the 'vote for all reviews on a film' version, I think we are only voting on the reviews of the particular reviewer, hence foxy's (and now my) ordering of reviews.
Of course, there's nothing to stop us having a scurry around all the other reviews while we are there, unless someone picks Titanic .... |

Whipper, we are just voting for the reviewer's review.

My thought was that people suggest the movie/film that they have a lot of reviews for. Others would visit that page and vote just on the reviews of the person who suggested the page.
That's what I've been doing. It's a lot more work to try to go through the whole page and vote for everyone's reviews. If you like the film Chocky suggested, suggest it for yourself this round and then we'll click on it and look at your reviews for that movie.
