Sean says: Same old, same old - when will 2007 end? Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list. The only rule is to not use the ones from the previous round - you must change them every round. Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later. You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants. The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.
One small hint: Anonymous Rex was a pilot for a TV series based on Eric Garcia's "Rex" stories. For those who don't know, the premise is that dinosaurs aren't extinct, they live amoung us in disguises made of holographs. Also, the protagonist is a private investigator, film noir style. Too bad the Sci-Fi channel decided not to pick it up as a series.
Eric happens to be a friend of mine, who also wrote the book, which became the Nick Cage movie "Matchstick Men". I've put a tribute to him and that book/movie in another review in this round - just for fun.
You've Got Mail - Tom Hanks' username is NYC152. In the film, Tom & Meg discuss at length what the 152 signifies (152 moles on his face, 152 insights into my soul..)
Bhagam Bhag is a fun Bollywood flick involving the cast of a musical coming to perform in London (where characters are one instant in very dinstinctive London locations and the next instant in very dinstinctive Oxford locations ). They need an actress to star in it and are sent by a taxi driver to Hyde Park to find one (obviously); there, they are given a briefcase full of drugs by mistake.
