FOUR YOUR CONSIDERATION - TREASURE HUNT
Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list. Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round. Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later. Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate. You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants. The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.

Who saw fireworks last night?
In case you were wondering: - The movie 11:14's action takes place over 40 minutes of a horrid traffic incident, told from five different perspectives. - North Country stars Oscar Winning Actress Charlize Theron as Josey (do you remember the name of the movie she was in that won her that award?). - Leonard Bernstein was a composer - best known for his modernization of Shakespeare's greatest love story ever told - Romeo & Juliette -into the musical/operetta "West Side Story". |

Thor's Day
Program Notes: The Bespoke Overcoat was adapted from a story by Gogol.
Force 10 From Navarone was a sequel. A bad sequel. A very bad sequel.
Throw Momma From The Train was a dark comedy based on the rage-fuelled, crazy Hitchcock premise of one man committing another's murder. The chaps were Billy C. and Danny DeV.
Oliver Stone's JFK inevitably is set in the city of the President's assassination.
In The Net Sandra Bullock must insert a computer disk without detection in order to recover her stolen identity. Disks are also part of the architecture of the spine, and sometimes slip out of place - which can be equally annoying.

I used the third/turd pun on Shrek The Third on my Facebook review of the film. I did not think it'd get approved here. Shows you how much I know.
Edit: In fact, now that I think about it, I think I did submit the very same review a while back, and it was rejected. It was before the film had come out, mind, and even though there was advance word that the flick sucked ass, I did not resubmit it based on plausible deniability of an opinion's objectivity in advance of a film's release.
Anyhoo, not bothered either way...

"Making of The Bridge ..." is a ripoff of one of my reviews from last week's FYC.
Part of the backstory of Metropolis involves a love triangle between the mad scientist, the ruler of the city, and a woman named Hel who died while giving birth to the ruler's son. |
