Four Your Consideration - Treasure Hunt

Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round.
Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later.
Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate.
You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.

Would you believe it, there was a movie with John Wayne where the horse got big billing, and amazingly, the horse's name was "Duke the Miracle Horse". No kidding! What's more, John Barrowman (yum) did a shark movie where his name is Carpenter and he finds a tooth which leads to a very angry and hungry fish.

Deep water runs still and our non-human planet-mates enjoy each other while some icy vampires don't quite get what they want. Oh, and a couple Moore, too.

intros over - now for the hintlets you crave:

In Irwin Allen's dreadful Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea Walter
Pidgeon as Admiral Nelson steers a nuclear sub to the very depths.

Out In Nature: Homosexual Behaviour In The Animal Kingdom features many species of fauna.

30 Days Of Night, if you haven't been paying attention, is set during a sunless month in a town so far north everyone's frozen to the bone, though their blood still runs for a group of wandering vampires.

Manufacturing Dissent is a documentary about documentarian Michael Moore out of which he doesn't emerge so well.

Sicko is a documentary by documentarian Michael Moore out of which the US healthcare system doesn't emerge too well.

One of those above average made-for-TV movies with some good actors. This comment on David Soul's performance is a compliment

All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere
And their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow

In honor of Veteran's Day in the US, I'm offering up these older reviews, all of which are set in a time of war for the US.

Just in case:
Platoon: Men on patrol are caught in the middle of two leaders with quite different approaches to the Vietnamese and the mission they are on. Sort of a "good sgt.-bad sgt." thing.
