Perhaps you could expand on that thought?

LOL, I just didn't have the energy at the time; I thought some other people might have seen it and would post.

A lot of reviews mention that it is beautiful but that it leaves a little to be desired in other areas. Well, they're right in one respect. It's not that the cinematography is unattractive, but it's not exactly Innovation City, and the film is punctuated by completely unelightening shots of cream trickling over pie. I found Natalie Portman reasonably good, and the second half of the film therefore somewhat more engaging. However, in general it is quite disjointed; while it is attempting an episodic feel, the aspects tying it together are unsuccessful. Jude Law is for some reason supposed to be from Manchester, requiring an accent he is unable to master. We are given no reason to care about the relationship between him and the main actress (Norah Jones, I guess) and so are not torn by their time apart. There are numerous small things which are annoying. For example, he runs a cafe and pointlessly collects keys left behind. The cafe is thus (supposedly by coincidence) called Cafe Key (in Russian, which he mispronounces).

This played for quite a while in the end. Did anyone here enjoy it more than I did?
