I haven't seen Stargate TV for a while so I assume this is a straight-to-DVD release. A rather neat time-travel/ alternate Dimension movie, well worth a look. Luckily you can have missed the "continuity" and enjoy it as a standalone. I liked the fact that if people turned up claiming to be from an alternate timeline they could get a sceptical and ultimately hostile reception.
Anyway - a couple of observations if you have seen it
* I really didnt see the point of filming in the real antartic - I just assume they greenscreened it.
* I did a take when the villain came on - he was a ringer for Kevin out of the Backstreet Boys!

They actually filmed at the Applied Physics Laboratory Ice Station in Alaska.
