Four Your Consideration - Treasure Hunt

Sean Says: Cheesecake, what a delightful invention.
- Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
- Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round.
- Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later.
- Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate.
- You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
- The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.
- The initiator of the next round will name the thread "FYCTH - #***" or "Sean's FYCTH - #***", "***" is one integer greater than the number of the current round. The initiator of the next round will copy this post verbatim and it will appear as the opening post of the next round, the only things that may be changed are fonts/colours and smileys (which may be removed altogether if desired) and the inviso comment after "Sean Says:".

101 Years of Movies

Hintlets:
London's Trafalgar Square was unique because it was shot on oval film stock by its inventors. It didn't catch on.

In Lean On Me, Morgan Freeman's the principal of an inner city school with much violence.

Folks, I changed my For Your Consideration candidates, but I'm clue-free as to how to include the link AND have it say something different than code-a-chrome. Maybe someone could clue me in?

And--thanks for all the votes!! Thrilling!

If you right-click on your name you'll get the link, which is http://www.fwfr.com/user.asp?id=12433

To make it into a link, use the little button above that has a globe and a chain on it, which gives you code for turning the URL into a link. After the [url type =" then paste the above URL in and then add another " at the end, making sure it is before the first ]. Then, between the first ] and the next [ you can type some kind of message, and we'll all see something like this:

Clay's some kind of message!

If you're still confused, if you quote reply to this, and look at my link for you, you'll get the idea.

Hi Clay -- and belated welcome to the 4UM

Now, pay attention, here's how to do the link thing.

1. 1st of all, ever fwfrer has an id number. Yours is 12433. How do you know? Well, when you click on your name look up in the url bar and you will see: http://www.fwfr.com/user.asp?id=12433

2. Copy that url.

3. Go to this page - or any page on which you want to post your link.

4. Put your cursor where you want the link to go and look up at the options above the white posting space. You will 4 info bars: Screensize, Format Mode, Format, and 3 dropdown choices for Font, Size, and Color. Don't worry about Screensize or Format Mode.

5. The Format bar icons are:
Bold, Italic, Underlined, Strikeout, Left Align, Center Align, Right Align, HardRule, LINK, eMail link, SomethingElse, Quote, and List.

6. Type a phrase you want to link to. Highlight the phrase.

7. Click on the LINK icon and you will see this:
(url="http://www.fwfr.com/user.asp?id=12433")Clay's Link(/url)
EXCEPT THAT THE ROUNDED PARENTHESES ARE ACTUALLY SQUARE BRACKETS. []

8. You can now highlight anything you want to change its appearance.
e.g.
You can now ... etc -- you can also combine fx.

9. Hope this helps.

PS Sorry CL - we had the same idea, but you typed faster!!!

The year is 1999.

I rarely have spoilers... but there are a couple for Fight Club and Double Jeopardy.

Quelle horreur!

NB:
"Manos" is widely considered one of the worst films of all time (and if you have the time to waste you can watch it in all its glory, as I did, on Youtube.)
