- Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
- Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round.
- Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later.
- Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate.
- You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
- The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.

Lemmy in for #689.

Malaya—During WWII, Spencer Tracy & Jimmy Stewart try to truck rubber out of Japanese-occupied territory.

Mister Drake’s Duck—One of gent farmer Doug Fairbanks Jr.’s ducks is laying uranium eggs. Could be valuable! Not so the horse crap Gene Wilder collects in Quackser Fortune Has a Cousin in The Bronx.

Student Nurses—Wonder what Florence Nightingale would have thought of Roger Corman’s cycle of five drive-in nurse exploitation films?

Medicine Ball Carnival—old hippies may remember this touring peace, love and rock’n’roll extravaganza.

Maid To Order—This comedy with Cinderella overtones didn’t do much for Ally Sheedy’s career.

ZOMBIES! *

* Inspired by one of the most incredible trailers I've ever seen, for zombie game Dead Island. (It's had well over a million views in less than 2 days.) Watch it in HD.

Early horror

NB:
The first short "Frankenstein" stars Charles Ogle as the creature. He vanishes into a a mirror and symbolically appears in place of the doctor's reflection at the end.
"Island of Lost Souls" was the first adaptation of "The Island of Dr Moreau" and starred Charles Laughton.
