Same here. I saw it at around the same time as it was reshown at the the Off Camera Film Festival in Cracow (or possibly the Krakw Film Festival; they were close together), where a documentary about some other Polish people 're'tracing the route was also shown. I couldn't get a ticket for that, unfortunately, but I don't think it would have undercovered the truth -- the mood was all very much in favour of the story, with doubts not being favoured kindly. Anyway, it seems almost like that Misha-wolf story, if not quite as far-fetched or removed from reality.

I think it's completely discredited, isn't it? Couldn't help but go along with the film, though.
Yeah, I probably understated it there. You expect plenty of artistic licence being taken with based-on-a-true-story stuff, but I found the film enthralling & was gutted to discover afterwards that the whole thing seems to be fabrication. ------------------------ And: yes.

5/5: some lovely ones there.
Much appreciated, Salopian!
My 5/5 went to AusCan.

I'm also quite proud of DESPURRADO for Puss in Boots, since that film and Desperado star the same lovely Latinos.
Yup, I voted for that one too, but I prefer the other one, just because the whole of it works so neatly. It may also have something to do with the fact that Puss in Boots was so overpromoted here (in Madrid) that I got sick of the sight of it -- there was even a huge pair of boots in my local metro station. |

Additionally, he incurs brain damage in a climactic explosion & is placed in a neural network, with his memories replaced by a fantasy of living on a tropical beach.
Trust: the paedophile is played by Chris Henry Coffey.
The Way Back: doubts have been cast on the accuracy of Janusz Wieszczeks account of his & his companions epic trek from Siberia to India.
The Dilemma: Geneva (Winona Ryder) is the woman causing all the problems.
