Posted - 02/10/2012 : 21:24:08 Every once in a while, it's nice to give a shout out to those who approve reviews for accepting one that you never thought would make it past their nimble judgements.
One of these is at first glance SO generic but once you see the name of the movie, it fits quite nicely. Plus, I love that it's actually a REVIEW!

I like this sort of review, and often submit it, but the MERPs (or perhaps one very active MERP) don't seem to grasp the concept that a review can be highly specific even if the words with a different sense would be quite 'generic'. They usually reject them even though the 'generic' interpretation tends to still be more restricted than in the case of your review. |

Posted - 02/11/2012 : 01:34:26 Wouldn't dare point any of them out for fear of having them revoked! Although to be fair I often push the generic in my reviews but have no problem in adding a specific detail on a second pass if need be. Next time I get a close call approved I'll post it. |
