NB: In "Mephisto" an actor famed for playing Mephistopheles aligns with the fascists to continue acting in Nazi Germany. "Body Heat" is a remake of "Double Indemnity". Martin Brest directed "Midnight Run" which sees Robert De Niro and Charles Grodin team up. Dean Proffitt persuades an heiress with amnesia that she is his wife in "Overboard". Mark Harmon plays a teacher who takes on a class of misfits in "Summer School".
I Dood ItRed Skelton is a smitten pants presser in this loose remake of Buster Keatons Spite Marriage.
Floating Weeds is a more ambitious colour remake of Ozus A story of Floating Weeds.
In Peter Medaks odd film Negatives Glenda Jackson gets off when hubby Peter McEnery dresses up as the early 20th century wife killer Dr. Crippen. When Diane Cilento enters the picture things get even weirder.
Also included is a review with no fewer than three hyphens.
