Sen Says: Another Monday, another game.

--> Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
--> Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round.
--> Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later.
--> Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate.
--> You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
--> The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at noon FWFR time, whichever comes next.

Amongst other things, Claude 'Coco' Renoir's relationship with his (elderly) father is looked at.

Shakey all over

NB:
The '99 "King Lear" stars Brian Blessed, the 76' version Patrick Magee.
Joss Whedon directed the most recent cinema "Much Ado" using a large number of his stock actors.
The '98 "Macbeth" is set in a post-apocalyptic world with guns and motorcycles.
"Romeo.Juliet" has the lovers recast as stray cats.

four your consideration

'jOBS' was widely panned for a mediocre performance by Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs. Plot-wise, Steve Jobs was kicked out of Apple at one point.

some more

some notelets:

> In Brooklyn Babylon, Jewish Sara puts romantic claim on black muso called Solomon. There was a big hit 1950s film called King Solomon's Mines - remade a couple of times.

> In Prince of Foxes, spy Tyrone Power depends on privileged information.

> In Filth, James McAvoy's cop is filthy enough to con Chief Toal.

Lemmy in for #954.

Well, there was this movie I seen one time
About a man riding cross the desert and it starred Gregory Peck

Well, Im standin in line in the rain to see a movie starring Gregory Peck
Yeah, but you know its not the one that I had in mind
Hes got a new one out now, I dont even know what its about
But Ill see him in anything so Ill stand in line.

The Gregory Peck film referenced in Dylans Brownsville Girl is The Gunfighter in which Skip Homeier challenges Ringo.

In Arabesque Peck plays a professor of ancient languages who gets caught up in intrigue with Sophia Loren.

In Designing Woman ex-boxer Mickey Shaughnessy is Pecks bodyguard.

The Extraordinary Seaman in which David Niven plays a weird navy officer was a John Frankenheimer failure. Archive footage of Gregory Peck and many others.

Other Peoples Moneygreedy Danny DeVito wants to buy Pecks wire and cable company.
