Sen Says: Here's to another good round!

--> Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
--> Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round.
--> Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later.
--> Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate.
--> You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
--> The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at noon FWFR time, whichever comes next.

Have a WONDERFUL time! So jealous!! [though I did see the show as filmed at the Globe - it's simply stunning.] BTW 5/5 for your 12Nights

Noir

NB:
Dixon Steele may be a violent killer in "In a Lonely Place".
In "The Stranger" Orson Welles' character is killed by a clock mechanism.
James Cagney's most famous "top of the world" speech comes from "White Heat", just before he is blown up.
Fritz Lang's "Cloak and Dagger" stars Gary Cooper as a scientist attempting to stop the Nazis from reaching nuclear capability.

Lemmy in for #990.

In F for Fake Orson Welles says about Chartres cathedral: You know, it might be just this one anonymous glory of all things, this rich stone forest, this epic chant, this gaiety, this grand, choiring shout of affirmation, which we choose when all our cities are dust, to stand intact, to mark where we have been, to testify to what we had it in us to accomplish.

Bette Midlers name in Beaches is CC Bloom.

In J-P Melvilles wonderful Second Breath (Le Deuxieme Souffle) Lino Ventura plays a world-weary hood named Gustave (Gu) whose last job goes awry.
