NB: "The Arbor" is a stunning documentary about Bradford playwright Andrea Dunbar and her children - in which actors lip-synch to the recorded interviews. After an accident a woman decides to become a female escort in Stacie Passon's "Concussion". Spoiler for "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" - Katie Holmes is killed and pulled into the creatures' lair through the basement fire grate. "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend" is the most famous sequence from "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes". In "Take This Waltz" Margot leaves her happy marriage for an affair - and rides a fairground waltzer at notable points in the film.
Signposts: The Big Parade's director = King Vidor. Cheaper By The Dozen features the very extended Baker family. Goldie Hawn's a squatter in Housesitter. Porn Star: I haven't heard lately what used to be a standard way of describing the average working man. The great Mel Blanc, as usual, provides voices for a toon featuring a dodgy lumberjack determines to dam up community water supplies; he's foiled by some pesky wabbit.
