Posted - 05/08/2006 : 18:08:21 So I got this rejection on a review that I had for YOurs Mine and Ours because it was too similiar to another review, well to my surprise I had actually submitted mine 1 day earlier than Silly's. I resubmitted with this in the notes but just wanted to know if there was any other recourse or if I am somehow mistaken.
If I am wrong I will happily vote for Silly's review as I think it was quite inspired!! |

Ooh, so close. Okay, I'm off to vote for arocketman's review.

According to my records, however, Silly's review was submitted on 29th Nov 2005, whereas yours was submitted 5th Dec 2005.
Thanks - for clarification - I am deleting my re-submission and voting for Silly's Yours, Mine and Ours: "Cheaper by 1.5 Dozen". |

My question, since the site does not tell me, when was my review of Meet the flockers for The Birds originally submitted. Are you, benj, able to tell?
Let me know, Judge Wapner.
Thanks, EM :)

Okay, well then The People's Court is in session.
I had a review for The Birds -- which was Meet the flock-ers. Not sure when it was submitted, but it was sitting in my cue for a long, long time. I think it was even rejected once as the way it was finally done for arocketman.
His/her review was Meet the flockers. And was approved as that.

Posted - 05/08/2006 : 18:58:28 I don't think this is true.
Example - recently got approval for a review for Butterfly Effect - listed as 2/5/2006 - however in in My fwfr it shows it was approved on 5/6/2006.
I think the listing date uses the European dd/mm/yyyy and the my fwfr uses the mm/dd/yyyy format - but nonetheless it does see to show that I submitted it last Tuesday and it was approved on Saturday - I use a recent example because I actually remember when I submitted this one.
Whatever the rule is I will go by - but I am not clear on what the rule is.
thanks,

Posted - 05/08/2006 : 18:47:56 I don't know how you can tell when it was submitted. The date on the review is when it was passed. In such cases, I always give the MERP's the benefit of the doubt, and the similar thinker my vote. Hey, if it was good enough for me to ask others to vote for it, I should vote for it. |

I had the same thing happen to me. I think there is no recourse. The People's Court is too jammed to hear the case of "I submitted first and was rejected."
