This review is not really funny at all, has no in-your-face cheesy pun and is not outstandingly witty or a traditional candidate for a 'top review' on this site...
But I absolutely love Rovark's 'Stolen kisses lovingly returned'. You have to have seen the film (either cut) to get it, but I think the review is delightful and has the kind of poetic beauty that reflects the movie. I think it deserves a lot more than the 3 votes it has.
I agree. |

Armand Assante portrays Mike Hammer.
Not one of my favorite people, Armand Hammer was the founder of Occidental Petroleum and a lover of all things Russian during the cold war. There's a fascinating piece out there on the web somewhere about his relationship to the Al Gore family. Oh I found a lot of dribble about it, but this one here is a fascinating read. |

Hi all, and thanks for the kind words; I seem to have hacked up a memorable review. Now if I could just do that a few hundred more times like you all have...
Welcome to FWFR and the fourum. Keep up the great reviews you have.

Love it - very offbeat
Thank you for your kind words. I have a vision of some thank you votes coming your way. |

On the opposite end of the scale, I just found the worst review among the 200,000-plus FWFR on this site. It was written by Peter W for the movie Showtime sometime in 2002 before Benji put his strict standards in place.

Noted and deleted. I also notice it was approved at 3.01am, so there's my excuse |

Wow, thanks! I was wondering where those votes were coming from. I like "Judgment at Neuron berg" but it's either more obscure or less accurate than "World's least-kosher pickle".
At any rate, I'm actually posting for a gem I spotted. I just tripped on this on login. This is from a newbie, Aaldo, who only has six reviews:
For The Graduate, "Crying over skilled MILF"
I was just about to post something about that one. Well spotted. This reviewer has something on the ball.
The review has left all of mine in the dust... but I can't say I'm as proud of any of these as I would be of that one. |
