I've taken to watching whatever movies the basic cable channels carry and writing reviews for those. It's a fresh perspective on the film and gives me ideas. I seem to have lost touch with all the breaking news of the day. However, over all, that's not entirely a bad thing.

I admire some of you who just have scores of delightfully clever reviews, page after page. I've visited many of them, spreading the love, so to speak. All I want is for my Outbreak review to be accepted so I can retire in peace!!!

Ah, that's what we all say, but once hooked... Although I have slowed down since I got my wings.

thanks everyone. I hope you'll like my reviews, I've got about 9 pending unfortunately as I got carried away last night, but definitely the best one yet for Cruel Intentions haha.

Yeah, I know what you mean about the tripe, but sometimes you just have to wade through. Welcome to the Fourum, Brassy!

Sure thing, I mean, I guessed as much re: the better things to do with their lives bit, I take it there is a crack, elite squadron of these MERPs and with nearly 7000 reviewers I expect there's a lot to get through.

Does the site make any revenue? I'm sure there're some opportunities for it, what with being dedicated to the billion-pound movie industry.

Welcome to FWFR, thebrasseye.

I think benj and the MERPs must get paid heaps, that probably explains why reviews are pending for ages sometimes. They are all tanning on a beach in Bora Bora or hanging out with Hefner and the girls at the mansion....lucky bastards.

Not all reviewers are current and active, but I'll bet there are blooming hundreds of reviews pending at anyone time.

Not sure, for that you would have to ask Benj, but I doubt he would be overly forthcoming.

Welcome to the fourum Brassy,

The pending queue time lapse varies, at times the pendings could take 1 day and sometimes it can take 1 or 2 months. The more popular or well known the film the faster the reviews APPEAR to get dealt with.

Benj and the MERPs are the only ones that can approve reviews and the secrets of the actual process are held in deep dark vaults deep below westminster abbey in a cardboard box labelled secrets.

Benj is the only person who has the power to add new films whereas the MERPs along with Benj do all the approvals and declines. As none of them get paid for the task it is understand that at times they get on with other things in their lives.

We seem to be on a slightly quieter time at the moment but I am sure it will pick up soon.

This is second only to saying you have a system that gets your reviews processed in a timely manner.

If this is aimed at me Master then I humbly apologise if not then, Yeah ya gits stop being sarcastic!! I'm with Benj

Not wanting to start an argument, but did this tactic work did you get a pile of reviews approved or not, if it did work I may give it a go.
