Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list. The only rule is to not use the ones from the previous round - you must change them every round. Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later. You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants. The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next. |

I can see there's room for confusion -- but I suspect he meant Monday, which would be correct for the FYCTH #250 he knows he'll miss. I certainly didn't mean to offend anyone, and will leave my post up there so Conan doesn't miss out on any votes.
I did mean Thursday (as I was away for the week) but I really appreciate the sentiment so votes are on the way. Thanks

Posted - 11/23/2006 : 17:07:50 Thanks Beany for the votes. And cheers to Lemmy and Salopian for their benevolent concern that my link was votable. Got you all back.
See you in a few rounds' time
Maximum respect. Alma

Okay, but... why did you change your link to http://www.fwfr.co.uk on today's FYC?
To back up my point that all the variants are allowed. I prefer www.fwfr.co.uk anyway, and used to use it all the time. |

The link that alma posted gets me to a page on which I cannot vote.
Only because you mustn't be logged into http://fwfr.com . There's nothing saying that http://www.fwfr.com is the main site - that's just the one that most people happen to use. For people with their own computers, they should only need to log into each version once, assuming they don't delete their cookies.

Welcome back, alma. Here's a working link:

Alma's link worked too. The address including www is not the definitive one - they're just variants.

Got everyone (even Conan) and getting ready for Tomorrow.
What's tomorrow? (In Israel anyway - here its eat lots of turkey potatoes and watch football day while being thankful for turkey, potatoes and football)
The "tomorrow" I referred to in my post (which is now today) is the new FYC round.
Here in Israel, we call it Yom Chamishi, but you can call it Thursday. And no, we don't do the turkey or parades or the American football stuff on this particular Thursday, or any particular Thursday. No, we don't have a Thanksgiving Day.
Shame that, actually. I remember it as being a lovely holiday and I do have quite a few ex-pat American friends who do actually make a Turkey and invite friends around to celebrate it. Hell, one year even I made a Turkey on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Of course that was more to give thanks for having a brand new oven that was actually big enough to put a whole Turkey into.
Yes, I do miss Thanksgiving.
(But I don't miss X-mas or New Years. And I didn't miss out on voting even for Alma.)

Posted - 11/23/2006 : 01:36:20 Got everyone, even Alma.
Ali is my hero of the round, and my favourite was GG's "Invisible Man Returns" review.
Airbolt and Lady M- you changed your reviews before the end of the round - couldn't vote on yours, sorry. |
