Posted - 12/21/2006 : 01:21:21 It doesn't really get said enough but now is the time to thank Benj Clews for creating this site and all work he puts in.
FWFR is so clever I'm sure some day he'll find a way to make a load of money off it. But for now the only thing Benj gets is our gratitude which, unfortunately, can't be converted into pounds, Euros or U.S. dollars.
The least we can do is check out his pages and send some votes his way.
Merry Christmas Benj and thanks again for all the work you do!

P.S. Thank you to the MERPS who also put in a lot of free time. |

Posted - 12/23/2006 : 08:24:46 Merry (Happy) Christmas and Happy New Year to all my friends across the world in fwfrland! It's been a great '06 (or half a one thereabouts) for me since discovering this site, and I hope to contribute much more in my first full calendar year.
To celebrate the holiday, I've included one of my favorite film quotes:
"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo daVinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love. They had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!" (Orson Welles in "The Third Man") |

Amen to that. Ooh, an uncharacteristically prayerful endorsement from Koli. Never mind, a return to secularity can't be far away.
And thanks, Benj, for creating and maintaining this site through thick and thin, for better or for worse, in sickness and in health.
Oh bugger. I'm slipping into the Christian marriage service. How did that happen?
