Posted - 12/26/2006 : 14:32:02 OK, my latest kvetch concerns something that hopefully can be resolved. I've had a review declined because the "film cannot be found," (who knows, a secondary reason for declining the review might be because it's not any good). The film is "The Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau" and a quick Google search of that title will reveal that it is abundantly listed, including on Amazon.com and our bible, the IMDb site. Please help me verify that this film is indeed detectable, if only to preserve the last vestiges of my sanity.
BTW, happy Boxing Day all

Posted - 12/26/2006 : 15:22:15 OK, thanks for the explanation all. In the future, I will apply your recommendations in determining what exactly is a film. Now I can relax and focus on other films. My review wasn't that good anyway.

Posted - 12/26/2006 : 15:08:15 Yeah it's not listed as a film. Easy rule of thumb: if imdb has the title in quotes, it's a series instead of a film and not eligible.
But for future reference, if a real film gets declined for that reason and you are able to find it listed on imdb, I'm sure you could simply email the link to benj and he'd appreciate the help. |

The only thing I see listed for that name is the tv series. That's probably why it comes back that way, as it's not a film. |
