Four Your Consideration - Treasure Hunt

Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round.
Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later.
Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate.
You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.

Is sorting by reviewer rank really the default? I don't remember that, as it's so long since I set my own preferences - as I'm sure is the case for everyone else. Anyway, I didn't think of sorting that way (as it would never cross my mind to use that variable), and I wasn't so desperate to vote that I wanted to faff around. So thank you to lemmy, although it turns out that I had already voted for it.

Like President Bush, your certainty does not reflect the genuine truth. V&V

I wondered about making that wording more literally accurate at the time: I am really pretty sure that almost all regular Fourumites will have chosen their own settings towards the beginning of their time here. If reviewer rank really is (bizarrely) the default, then you could be an exception to this as you would be one of the only people who would want to view film pages that way.

Vote?

No, that's just what they expect me to do!

But I've done it anyway.

Waiting for tomorrow.

(And a heartfelt thanks to those brave FWFRers who voted for my less than witty, albeit accurate Designing Woman review. Its a good film, by the way, if you haven't seen it. It was recently on TCM so keep an eye out.)

American Gangster: Doesn't Denzel Washington playing this drug dealer remind you of Al Pacino in Scarface -[/font=Trebuchet MS] "Let me eentroduce you to mahy leetle friend.."

yes, in fact, if "American Gangster" wasn't based on a true story, i'd say it was a ripoff of a bunch of drug and mafia movies. now that i think about it, a bunch of those films probably took some inspiration from Frank Lucas' story.
by the way, the acting in 'AG' is amazing from top to bottom: Washington, Crowe, Ejiofor, Dee, Assante, even Gooding. i wouldn't be surprised to see them win the SAG award for cast.

and btw, voted thru rabid kaz%k

The very near duplicate. Same joke, but like Mutha said, great minds...

I couldn't see it by fishing through. If you isolate it, I'll vote for it.

It's easy to sort by Reviewer Rank, the default. Sorry you couldn't find it. Thanks for helping Mr. Salopian, lemmy.

I've noticed young 'mockneys' using it this way but that's a 'Turkish' - Turkish bath (bahf) = laugh. 40 years ago we didn't have bubble baths, leastways not where I came from. A Greek's a Bubble.
As for Bubble & Squeak being Scottish. News to me. It's fried up leftovers, potato, greens (cabbage, sprouts) and whatever else is around. Boxing Day we still have cold cuts with Bubble (Roast potato, sprouts, swede, roast parsnips)

V+V'd

Not that it's definitive but
