Porterhouse Blue features a porter called Skullion, one-man rowing and intrigue and deception. August Rush writes a rhapsody in August Rush. One of the Darjeeling Limited brothers is a ladies' man. If one considers that films about real events can have spoilers, then there's one here for A Mighty Heart.

Amazing how often that happens around here... Definitely pleased to see that I'm occasionally capable of enjoying your 'train of thought.'

Gotta roll with the punches.

Spoiler for Stanley Kubrick's The Killing.

Notes on two obscure ones:
Blizna and Amator are early Kieslowski films. The first is about a man's problematic management of a factory; the second is about a man who buys a video camera and becomes obsessed with making films.
