Posted - 03/07/2008 : 11:19:58 My review of Juno has been rejected twice. It's not brilliant and makes a reference to x-men3 namely " Proud parent is Pryde". I checked and theres at least one other Juno review checking X-men.
I wouldn't normally bother but it's certainly not " too generic" in my opinion. |

Ellen Page's character is called Kitty Pryde in X-Men United. She gives birth in Juno (even though she is not a parent, per se - but it's not too big a stretch). |

Posted - 03/08/2008 : 03:22:21 OH, I read it the wrong way... I think. Forget what I typed, your review may have just cut the Mustard!!! I hope it did, I love to see others get 'em approved... means mine are right around the corner...
Sorry for the misunderstanding!
Damn, having Benj arrive and tell you that your stuff just passed muster... I can't even put weight on that! |

Damn, Benj just said your stuff wasn't cuttin' the mustard... Back to the drawing board, I think. Benj rejects my stuff on a regular basis, but to have him arrive and tell you your stuff ain't good... well, re-write it and dig the appearance!
Eh? I'm pretty sure that Benj meant he passed (approved) it, not passed [on] (rejected) it. |

Posted - 03/08/2008 : 02:32:32 O.K., so whenever a review is rejected twice and we don't think it's fair, we can post a thread about it? I'm going to be posting a lot of threads...
On a serious note, I still think the same as I said when MERPs were brought in - they should just process first-pass reviews and Benj should get all the second-pass ones. There shouldn't really be that many of the latter. The point of this would be that it's a waste of Benj's time to pass clear-cut reviews when any old MERP can do that, and most importantly this would allow more consistency to be imposed. What would be even more preferable would be that the MERPs could not definitively reject reviews, but instead ones that they said no to went straight to Benj for moderation. On this basis, it would not matter if they still saw second-pass ones. |

Were I a MERP, I'd pass that.
