Sean Says: Love that Sean is telling me how to be cool! It's not something I'm good at... Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list. Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round. Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later. Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate. You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants. The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.

Thanks. I wasn't expecting many votes - and as they say, "You only vote once."
V&V.

(Ready for tomorrow's round. Got a bunch of newly accepted reviews to put up.)
((Oh, and Livie - if you put up the next one, try using beige instead of pink!))

I didn't get it the first time, but after this prompted a second look, I did.

note: Rangoon, capitol of Myanmar, means "free from strife".
Um, actually the capitol is Naypyidaw, and Rangoon (aka Yangoon) is its largest city.

Remember how last week I was so proud of having a review with musical notes in it? Well, it got pulled. C'est la vie.
So along with 2 newbies, I've added 3 reviews with somewhat irregular characters.
Background: - Hard Candy was I believe Ellen Page's first starring American role. She kidnaps a rapist and threatens to castrate him. - One other note, that doesn't help explain a review, but does provide interesting background. Both Britons & Americans are familiar with "Dennis the Menace", but conjure drastically different images. American think of a cute blonde kid about 3 or 4 wearing overalls who stars in a single panel comic. Britons think of a nasty young lad with black curly hair who always wore a horizontally striped red & black shirt who appears in the Beano. Both were created about the same time. What, if anything, do Aussies think of? |
