Your easy step-by-step guide is really clear to follow.

Posted - 05/07/2008 : 12:50:52 You go to the film page for that review.
Assuming its your own review you want to link to, choose the "MY REVIEWS ONLY" option under SHOW.
If you have only one review for that film then copy the page address, go to the forum, make a new post and hit the INSERT HYPERLINK button.
This will appear - I've changed square brackets to round brackets to avoid any problems!:
(url)(/url)
Now, if you just want the link to appear and don't mind the link address in the middle, you place your cursor after the first closing bracket - which is before the second opening bracket, and copy, so you get this:
(url) ADDRESS (/url)
(Obviously it says the address of your review. not the word "address".)
Now, if you want something other than the address to appear on the post, instead of inserting the address in the middle you place the cursor after the first "l" and add "=and then copy the review address and then type ". This will all appear before the first square close bracket. You then type your message after that first square close bracket.
Finally, if you have more than one review for a film, having gone to the film page and chosen MY REVIEWS ONLY then you need to isolate the review you want.
You do this by counting which number review (in order) you want to select, and then changing the address START value from 1 to the new number, and, assuming you just want the one review to appear, also changing the ROWS value to 1. (If you wanted two reviews to appear you would change it to 2.. ).
Having changed the address values just test it out to make sure you've done it ok.
I also suggest that, until you become more familiar, you should check out a link after posting, to make sure it goes to where you expected!
Here's an example of an excellent link which I can unreservedly recommend to all fwfrs... |

Posted - 05/07/2008 : 12:38:54 Look at the fine print in one of the SA:MOU threads in this folder. It gives a step-by-step process. I'm hoping I have understood your question correctly, btw. |
