This isn't a complaint. I'm just having trouble explaining a review to MERPs. The film is Fight Club. The review in question begins with "I am Jack's..." I explained that it is a reference used in the film (which happens to start after the narrator has been reading Reader's Digest) to the "I am Joe's kidneys" series. My response was basically "Who is Jack?" I'm not really sure how to explain this in 100 spaces. I assume from the film that perhaps they couldn't use the name Joe because of copyright issues maybe, but that isn't explained. The film uses the statements as a bit of a non-sequitir introduction to the progess of the narrator's understanding of himself and Tyler Durden.
The film uses the phrases, such as "I am Jack's smirking revenge", "I am Jack's cold sweat", "I am Jack's raging bile duct", "I am Jack's colon", "I am Jack's complete lack of surprise", "I am Jack's wasted life", "I am Jack's inflamed sense of rejection", "I am Jack's broken heart". We've a few reviews on the film already using this: "I am Jack's review" and "I am Jack's schitzophrenia" (which has two separate issues).

I realize I'm overexplaining this, but I really just want help formulating a 100 character statement that explains all of this. Help?

It worked and was passed. Thanks Mguy!! Now see, that's what happens when you go to law school instead of doing the MA in psych!

It is "I am Jack's contusions." I don't get the sense that the contusion part is an issue, it's mostly about Jack/Joe and apparently how it relates to the film.
