Sean Says: Penguins!
Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list. Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round. Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later. Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate. You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants. The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next.

Nope, can't offer any defence whatsoever, apart from the fact that it is filmed entirely at the Taj Mahal, Agra, India, and is narrated by a very famous Indian actor. Oh, and its entirely about the most famous Indian landmark.
Yeah, that sure makes it an Indian film. It's not American at all, despite the film-maker and funding.
You'd better get in touch with the Academy. They're sure to appreciate your correction on how to define what country a film is from. They'll need to get lots of Oscars back so that they can redistribute them.
I'm off to submit "Landmark in French cinema" for The Da Vinci Code and "Landmark in British cinema" for National Lampoon's European Vacation. |

Excellent Prince & Me one.
Awww...! Thanks, Salopian!
Wouldya believe that I had to go through posting this about five or six times till it got accepted? |

New Year? No-one told me!
I'm not really clear as to how one of those makes sense, given that it's not an Indian film.
Benj - is there any way, in the "MY DETAILS" page, where there are personal options, there could be a special little opt-out box for those of us not wishing to participate in the Salopian Masterclass which has recently become so prominent a feature of this thread
While you're at it Benj, could there please be a special marker on reviews with lazy wordplay that have been allowed despite being totally inaccurate? It would be convenient to be able to skip past them.
I take it that W.'s choice of comment here means that he is unable to offer any actual defence of his review.

Apart from that, my review "Landmark in Indian Cinema" makes absolutely no sense.
Silly old me.

I know one of these is apparently a very overused pun, but it's the first one I've done!
Very good it is too, and the Wheel one.
Cheers

Demonic said it. Great round.
Quite true.
Agreed - I got 11 votes on one of those reviews of mine.

And, Salopian, your W. review is great!
Thanks. I think it may come across to others as "Thinking George" (although that is more true of the film than reality anyway), but what I mean is "Bizarre George".
I think the parallel to the children's story character works, too: someone poking his nose into where it shouldn't be and causing all kinds of trouble.
That's through luck rather than judgment, I have to admit. |

Even though the holy word/Hollywood pun has been done before here, that's such a perfect film that it's still a very nice review. |
