Sean Says: I'm not being silly - Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list. - Do not use reviews from the previous round - you must change them every round. - Post here to declare that you've done it. Sooner is better than later. - Provide a spoiler warning in your post when appropriate. - You must read the F.Y.C.s of all participants. - The next round starts on Monday or Thursday at 6:00 a.m. FWFR time, whichever comes next. - The initiator of the next round will name the thread "FYCTH - #***" or "Sean's FYCTH - #***", "***" is one integer greater than the number of the current round. The initiator of the next round will copy this post verbatim and it will appear as the opening post of the next round, the only things that may be changed are fonts/colours and smileys (which may be removed altogether if desired) and the inviso comment after "Sean Says:". |

Posted - 04/20/2009 : 13:00:12 Nor have I any complaints with being associated with a good review.
Must have been the tee-golf connection. |

Posted - 04/20/2009 : 11:35:40 Oh, sorry! That was a... uh... typo. Damn my eyes!
Nice review, Whipper.
(I did also really like Rock G01f's reviews this round, perhaps that's why I got confused! )

Posted - 04/20/2009 : 08:49:04 I think we all get that mild frustration. It comes down to reviews with unsophisticated ideas that jump out very obviously picking up votes more readily. Other reviews may be much more crafted but when read cold some (random) voters just don't get everything about them immediately. It doesn't usually matter, though: I find that once reviews have a few votes from here, most of the good ones rise over time. |

5/5 for [matt]'s smut.
quote: Originally posted by randall I agree wholeheartedly. I'll write one and think, "This one's a classic!" Come voting time, the crickets chirp. Then one I myself didn't particularly care for vaults up the charts. It's all about the collective gang at the time...
I don't think we're good judges of our own work on the whole. But I must confess it's disappointing when about 20 people are in a round, you think you've got a corker and it only picks up a handful of votes. Some reviews can take two stabs at a FYC to really get anywhere! |
