Just seen this from Salopian

A Merrick Unbeauty.

That is (IMHO) one of the best FWFRs in this entire site. Genius.

Feel free to. I've never objected to the use of obviously fake words, only when people have tried to pass them off as real ones (e.g. two words as one).

I rather prefer this one - it's gracefully done and also makes sense.

It was good enough for my vote but I'm not so keen on the double k-sound. The article is rather forced (I'm not totally happy with the one in mine but at least the surname isn't the head noun of the phrase). The review also doesn't fit the plot so very well (he gets his wish to be integrated into society; he doesn't just dream about it).

I really liked the 'unbeauty' part of it ... like he's invented a new word for 'ugly'. Much better than 'an beauty'.

Chocolate Lady - I don't know how to link to fwfrs. I'm too lazy to find out or learn .... I'm proably too lazy to remember how it's done if someone explained it to me really carefully.

I'd like it more if "unbeauty" was a real word.

I think everyone's seen it already.

And don't forget that to help promote it, a link would be useful!

That's very kind. However, whenever it is mentioned I feel obliged to note that it is only an edit of punz's older "A Merrick-an Beauty", which I felt was really a wasted opportunity. Don't let that stop you from voting on it, though.
