I know the story behind Alan Smithee. At least, I think I do. I can't remember how I found out, but I did somehow.

But what about newer fwiffers? Could this possibly be included in the bonuses or something?

You may have a point here boydegg, new reviewers should be told what the disown option does and that they can have a review on the site that they don't specifically want to own but it is still a valid review.

Alan could be included in the faq's section of the site, just been and seen that it is there
