DA EVEN NEWER ROOLZ
Each Tuesday a theme will be decided based on the Anniversary of some significant event. All you have to do is trawl your reviews for any that relate to that event and post them here with a link.
You can post as many as you wish, so long as either the film or your review clearly relates to the theme. You can only post during the week of the current TA:MOU.
You don't have to say you voted unless you really want to - but you are expected to visit all the links posted. As a courtesy to the majority of fwfrs, you may only post a link that uses the http://www.fwfr.com domain name.
Each TA:MOU # will be removed when a new one takes its place. This is to deter re-visiting of expired threads. Yours truly Da Management
ON THIS DAY in 1911 International Women's Day was founded and is now celebrated in over 100 countries of the world.
Yes, there IS an International Men's Day, only around since 1999, but sometimes for women it seems/has seemed as though every day is IMD!
Anyway - the challenge for the TA:MOU trio is to identify one film from each decade of IWD which indicates in some way either women's oppression or liberation. Any genre, length, etc If you can't find one in any decade just move on to the next.
Of course, any fwfrer is welcome to contribute, of whatever gender. You have only The Votes to gain!
Help celebrate IWD's 100th birthday.
