DA EVEN NEWER ROOLZ
Each Tuesday a theme will be decided based on the Anniversary of some significant event. All you have to do is trawl your reviews for any that relate to that event and post them here with a link.
You can post as many as you wish, so long as either the film or your review clearly relates to the theme. You can only post during the week of the current TA:MOU.
You don't have to say you voted unless you really want to - but you are expected to visit all the links posted. As a courtesy to the majority of fwfrs, you may only post a link that uses the http://www.fwfr.com domain name.
Each TA:MOU # will be removed when a new one takes its place. This is to deter re-visiting of expired threads. Yours truly Da Management ON THIS DAY you have a choice of two historical anniversaries to mark with your fwfrs. 1. Today is the Ides of March. In 44 BC, Julius Caesar was stabbed to death by Marcus Junius Brutus, Gaius Cassius Longinus, Decimus Junius Brutus and several other Roman senators. OR 2. in 1917 Tsar Nicholas II abdicated the Russian throne in favor of his brother the Grand Duke. It was a bit irrelevant because the October Revolution triggered the demise of the monarchy when the Tsar's army was ordered to fire on 500,000 peaceful street protestors in Petrograd. The Tsar's replacement comprised 650 elected delegates to the Congress of Soviets, which would have been a true democratic alternative, until power-hungry factions consolidated their power in The Council of People's Commissars.
So, our theme is power corrupts.
Your fwfrs can reflect that theme either with films of political assassinations, or of political revolutions.
Ready, aim, fwfr!! PS to demonic -- I have PMd you but two of your last week's links are wrong, so I've left up the thread for you to change them. HelpfulBabe!
