One of J Michael Straczynski's anecdotes goes as following. A script for an animated sequence went to Korea as follows
" In the capsule the astronauts count down to lift off and strap themselves in ".
The animation that came back was a little...off. The astronauts counted to zero, put on Bondage Gear and tied each other up!
Apocryphal perhaps? Anyway have you come across any " lost in translation " moments especially with subtitles?
