The Academy Awards venue is losing its name.
I'm sure they'll turn to us for the new name, so I'm just going to throw one out there:
The Sludgedome

Why don't they just give it a temporary name - and call it after the last Best Picture winner. So for now they can call it "The Artist Theater" until after the next Oscars. |

I saw a terrible production of a musical version of The Ten Commandments starring Val Kilmer as Moses. The one thing I remember was a love ballad sung by Moses's wife with the refrain: "He's fine. He's mine." |

Of course, that's a great name  ... but how's about a simple, evocative ... The Oscar Academy.
