Does anyone other FWFR-Er do impressions ( I'm not saying quality impressions )

I've been known to do a very poor Connery
*" Joonh-YAH "
*" Thish Shubmarine ish the Pride of the Shoviet Fleet "

not to mention an ok Blessed
*" GORDON'S ALIVE! "

Plus Michael Caine of course!

Well, I've made an MP3 of the first five speeches available for free download here:

http://www.savefile.com/files/540002

You'll hear Nixon doing the "napalm in the morning speech," then Bullwinkle's version of "you can't handle the truth." Andy Kaufman says he "coulda been a contender," Droopy reads Ezekial 25:17, and Professor Frink tells us why "greed is good." Enjoy or don't.

Although a soft-voiced gal, I like to think I do a decent Ahnolt, "I'm prrroudt of da hummah." And, "Do you like a schtogie?"

When younger, I did a fair Gomer Pyle, "Surprise, surprise, surprise!"

I do Grover Monster pretty well.

When I was a very odd child, I could imitate goats, sheep, chickens, and of course, horses.

Right now, these are all brief .wav files -- about 30 seconds apiece -- but I suppose I could turn them into one MP3 file. But I don't have a website or any place to put them. I was wondering if any of you FWFRers knew of a place which hosted audio files. If so, I could put a few of these up for people to peruse, and other FWFRers could record themselves doing famous movie monologues (not just the ones at that website) in the voices of various characters. We could even turn it into a little contest.

Any takers?
I like this idea. I'd like to hear them, and might even have a crack at one or two myself.

I don't have a website or know of anywhere to host them though, hopefully someone else has an idea. YouTube perhaps?

You guys do realize that anyone here can say just about anything, given the absence of a verification means.

Along those lines, I do a pretty good Moses, a passable Zeus, and a spot-on Marquis de Sade.

Hello, all.

I was looking through this thread about impressions, and I wanted to tie it in with the topic of movies. The following website posted its list of 10 great movie monologues:

http://www.altiustutasarim.com/notdefteri/arsiv/2007/02/top_10_greatest_film_speeches.php

So what I did was record these speeches as various characters:

1. Richard Nixon as Robert Duvall in Apocalypse Now
2. Bullwinkle as Jack Nicholson in A Few Good Men
3. Andy Kaufman as Marlon Brando in On The Waterfront
4. Droopy as Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction
5. Professor Frink as Michael Douglas in Wall Street
6. Bob Dylan as Peter Finch in Network
7. One of the Beatles as Ewan McGregor in Trainspotting
8. Elmo as Clint Eastwood in Dirty Harry
9. Kermit as Richard E. Grant in Withnail & I
10. John Wayne as Mel Gibson in Braveheart

Granted, some of these turned out better than others, but it was an interesting exercise. Right now, these are all brief .wav files -- about 30 seconds apiece -- but I suppose I could turn them into one MP3 file. But I don't have a website or any place to put them. I also do Adrian Monk, but whenever I do, people get annoyed by my constant whining for a wipe. And they hate it when I touch all the parking meters. (Isn't that ad for the show using Blind Melon's No Rain just to die for??)

Can also do Yoda, Darth Vader (when talking into cupped hands), Cartman, Tommy Cooper, Sydney Poitier, Peter Lorre and Russell Crowe. But, strangely, not on demand. I have to do it of my own free will or else they come out too strangled.

So you can't do Tommy Cooper "Just like that" then?
