So sad to report the death of brilliant jazz saxophonist John Dankworth.

The imdb lists his contribution to cinema.

I had the great privilege to get to know him and Cleo Laine when my theatre company played on a double bill with them at the Belfast Festival in 1969. Back in London they treated us to a few performances at Ronnie Scotts. What wonderful people. She's generosity personified. He was a true gent. Talent redefined.

Sadly - Accident fatal.
