I'm off to the premiere for The Kid in Leicester Square this evening (including the after party at China Whites).

Looking forward to meeting James Fox and one of my personal faves, Natasha McElhone.

Cool outing, BBoat!

Natascha didn't turn up! And there was me hoping I could fill some sort of void in her life.

Interesting evening. Walking down the red carpet whilst all the paps studiously ignored anyone who had dressed properly. Less glitzy once inside the cinema with a hastily arranged trestle table 'bar' and some overpriced plastic bottle of Stella.

Kylie Minogue gave a short speech before the film as well as the director Nick Moran (no, it isn't Slumdog Millionaire in Croydon Nick) and the writer.

Harrowing film. Good, but not an easy watch. Some strange directorial decisions but the story was nothing but engrossing.

Then on to Chinawhite, a celeb nightclub. Odd place. Lots of C-List stars, high grade hookers and fotballers wives wannabes. Free drinks though, so stayed til closing.

No autographs.
