Greetings Film Fans!

Today begins the final voting process for winners in each category. As promised, below is the short-list for Bafta categories. We have a few weeks before the winners are announced at the awards ceremony on 8 Feb. Bafta members do NOT know who's won before the ceremony. But, as it's already been in the press, it's true that Martin Scorsese will be awarded a lifetime achievement award by the academy.

As before, I cannot tell you which I voted for, but will reveal in each category how many of mine coincide with these semi-finalists. NB - As indicated, the Rising Star Award is the only one voted for by the public. Also, final votes for the two short film categories are chosen by the specialist Bafta chapters, as is the Documentary category.

If you want to play along to check your votes - it's one per category - or an abstention. I think it's only fair that you have to vote ONLY if you've seen every film listed in each category. I did!

Yes, BUT you got screeners/BAFTA voter passes to help you along. Most of us aren't that fortunate.
