Posted - 07/02/2012 : 02:45:52 Watch the Grand National winner of NZ's 2012 V48 Hours film competition. In a nutshell, entrants have 48 hours to conceive, write, film, edit and produce a movie.
This one is about 6 minutes long and is a zombie movie... with a difference. The movie is shot from the perspective of the zombies, and of course it's subtitled (has anyone ever understood their gurgles and groans?) for viewer comprehension. Hilarious and clever. You'll end up feeling sorry for these poor misunderstood creatures.
The judges had this to say about it:-
"That rare zombie movie told from the zombies point of view. Hilarious, original and surprisingly touching."
"Falling somewhere between completely straightfaced and utterly ridiculous, Brains? satisfies our neverending hunger for a good zombie comedy.
"Brains?" has just that, doing something fresh and clever with the zombie sub-genre, a triumph of ingenuity over budget.
"in a genre which has literally been done to death, they managed to find a fresh approach- very effective!"
"Its about love, its about human emotions, its about a Brain killing and undead heart"
Watch it here.
