Posted - 08/23/2012 : 20:01:36 OK, I'm posting this because I just saw it and I wonder if anyone else had a similar reaction. I was prepared to loathe this picture [I thought BRUNO was an abysmal waste of real talent], yet this time I found myself laughing time and again. In a way, it's the sweetest of the Sacha Baron Cohen films. There are enough gross-out gags for the most hardened teenager, but still some wonderful moments, such as a beautiful speech when the Dictator addresses the United Nations about the advantages of dictatorship, and proceeds to describe the George W. Bush-era United States. It was a very pleasant surprise. Shared?
P.S.: As far as fwfr is concerned, I think Salopian nailed it.
