No time to write much as I shoud be working but before I forgot I just wanted to strongly recommend this film about the Chinese cockle-pickers. I thought I was already familiar with the story, but I found it very compelling. It's by the excellent Nick Broomfield, but it's a drama instead of his normal documentary/investigative journalism style.
