Hollywood has made so many movies and TV shows about that place with the words "Beverly Hills" in the title that it's become a documented cliche.
I realize that people outside the US might not necessarily be clued in to all the subtleties of American pop culture, but I thought that the idea of "Beverly Hills" was famous enough to be recognizable beyond our borders. |

Posted - 11/07/2008 : 02:33:17 I don't remember whether I checked this at the time (it was before I could edit titles), but anyway the bad title is now listed as a working title and the page here has the proper one. |

Posted - 10/16/2008 : 02:43:40 I don't think that's the reason. We might not know quite as much about American culture, but we probably know literally almost as much about American pop culture (excluding some television), especially in terms of stock types, as Americans do. I don't know what the reason is, though. It's strange, as South(/North) of the Border means England(/Scotland) here. |
