Posted - 02/17/2010 : 16:13:30 Good points. I wondered why it had that title. Is she more prominent in the book? It would indeed be better if she had more plot while he is away � you're right that it mainly seems to be a lot of cliched snapshots of dinners gone cold. |

I liked it. Making time travel seem realistic is a good thing, as is Eric Bana. However, after an amount of time I don't have the sense of its having much content other than the general premise, so it might come down from 4/5 to 3/5. |

Posted - 08/21/2009 : 08:42:59 Oy! That was what I was afraid of. I loved the book and I was worried that the movie wouldn't have the right balance. A real shame!
But... you didn't read the book, I take it. Otherwise the remark about her being worried about being a bigamist wouldn't have gotten into that article.
If that's how someone who hasn't read the book feels about the film, I can imagine how we, the people who adored the book, will feel! |
