Kristin Scott Thomas is good in this but the whole thing just reminded me too much of I Am Love (foreign wife in a Mediterranean country becomes dissatisfied in her rigid marriage), which I wasn't sure about anyway. I also didn't care that much about any of the characters. The ending is also inexplicably unrealistic (even if she would kill her husband, she would be caught well before she were able to go frolicking with her lover and his daughter).
