I just noticed that when I looked at my list of reviews in chronological order to find reviews for this round of FYC, the reviews were dated November 1 and 2. But when I put put them into my FYC and then clicked on my username to copy the URL, the reviews are now dated in October.

I've also noticed that while my chronological listing shows that my first two reviews are dated December 29 and 30 2005 and all start with January 2006. But in my stats it shows far more reviews listed as being for 2005 than just two.

Can you help with this, or explain it to me?

Just as long as they don't get circumcised - they're already short enough as it is!

Yes, now that you lay it out, it seems a bit strange.

I really wish that the dates (the submission ones, naturally) were on film pages too. It is currently such a big hassle finding out which review was earliest across different films.

Okay - so we've got submission date and acceptance date. Then the submission date is what the stats use and FYC uses, while acceptance date is used on the "My Reviews" page. Interesting.

The two dates are, I am guessing, those I mentioned above. I would rather have the real date sometimes than never.

Okay, so what are the two dates, and can't we have just one date on each review?

I was not sure whether it had actually been applied, but I think this came from a compromise when there was a huge lag in approvals (just as the MERPs began). I was very keen to have the real date of the review (i.e. the submission date), so that one could see which review was earlier across different films. (Since I recently had a review approved long after a newer review for the same film, this is even more important than I thought.) Noncentz was very keen to have the approval date of the review, so that he could see people's most recent reviews. I pointed out that once the MERPs had cleared the backlog, he would be able to do this using the real dates, but since then there have been backlogs again.
