If I get a decline on the grounds of "don't understand" -- [and I don't expect you to give anything away, here] -- does the re-submit with explanation go back to the MERP who didn't get it? Does it go to the bottom of the general pile for re-consideration by another MERP?
It's okay either way, but clearly there are time implications. Some of my re-subs with explanations have been hanging around for many, many months.
Also: spelling I resubmitted an already approved review which already had some votes. The report was a simple misspelling - I'd left out a letter. So I corrected it. I guess it's gone to the bottom of the pile again - which is ok - but does it mean I've lost the votes as well?
TIA.

It retains it's original submission date so, since we work through reviews chronologically, it effectively returns to the top of the pile... but only for those that haven't yet MERPed it. Or me regardless of if I've seen it before.
OK ... many thanks for that, benj!

Not sure about the first question. In regards to spelling, whenever I have corrected a review of mine with votes it has been re-approved fast, with the votes.
Well, you're the lucky one!
But it's that vital FIRST QUESTION I need benj's help with. Please. Many thanks.
