Posted - 05/14/2007 : 06:06:01 This morning I managed to annoy more people by starting the latest round of FYCTH earlier.
Is there anyway of 1 displaying FWFR time on the site 2 syncronising with GMT or some time zone somewhere
at present the difference is approx 4 minutes, which seems nothing but this morning The BBC news at 6am had started so I started FYCTH.
I know that I can work it out with posting and calculating the difference but its a bit of a pain, especially with WAC on my knee!
Cheers

Hmmm. Sounds to me like someone was being humble and was trying to go out of his way to fix a problem so his e-friends wouldn't get annoyed more in the future. Very suspicious. That "friendly" thing could be contagious. Gotta keep an eye on this one. |

OK, let's compromise on 23 months.
Let's compromise that it may have been out by a few seconds two years ago, not a few or more minutes.
OK, lets.

It's been out for at least two years!
I'll miss the difference.
Two years?, I don't think so. |

The truth is that Wildhartlivie managed to post a thread bang on at 6:00:00 but I had already posted and foxy had responded quickly so I felt guilty for whl
I did post early and I don't like to annoy people when the solution is so simple and the issue is trival.
I thought that it was easier to apologise and ask for it to be sorted than to possibly let people think bad of me. Deep down I want an easy, pleasant, friendly & environment, as we all do!

Posted - 05/14/2007 : 18:55:52 Can someone please explain to me why this matters so much? Is there some regulatory board (other than Salopian) that dictates FYCTH must not start 3 minutes early?
Lets file this under this site is for fun lets not get overly critical of when people start silly contests and the like. |

That's impressive... the site's been on at least two different servers in the last 2 years! They were BOTH wrong???
Yes! And both slow. I think the previous server was only a little slow though.
Cripes... you're a tough one to please... |
