Is anyone else having problems logging in to the Fourum? I have to put my username and password in for every post. This hasn't happened to me before.

My login problem has been solved by browsing with Firefox. Still can't understand what the IE problem is - but that's technology for you.

Hello! How was your trip?

It must be my PC. No, I've never tried another browser, but I'll check out some of the recommendations people have made. It must be my PC. I must have a bug somewhere. I haven't restarted the computer for a while, so I'm going to try that now.

Was? 'Is' you mean- could be another month or so before we get back to the UK. Anyway, we're still in southern Thailand on Koh Samui, about to do a visa run to Malaysia and then get back to sunbathing

Awesome! I've been to both places. Enjoy Thanks for taking the time to respond to my problem. Turning on and off hasn't worked - but I've just identified a problem with updating my internal virus database, so I've obviously got a bug somewhere.

If your PC is running Windows (any version) a reboot is always a good idea. It's become a running joke to "try turning it off and then on again" but 9 times out of 10 it sorts out the problem.

Shiv, I sometimes have trouble voting for your reviews when you give a link in FYC because you dont have 'www' in your URL, and I have to add it myself. Maybe this is the problem.

That's weird too! I just looked in FYCTH at other links, and you're right. But no, it doesn't seem to be relevant here, as www is there. Thanks for the votes, though

I sometimes have problems with the fourum, such as when I've deleted temporary files and that's included passwords and other cookies. On those occasions there can be tense moments as I realise that my latest rant/generous advice/attempted witticism is in danger of disappearing into the ether unseen.

But at the moment I'm not encountering such problems. It appears the problem is at your end, but unfortunately I don't know enough about computers to offer advice. Well not anything useful anyway. Other advice I am very free with.

No - when I do that it says I have logged in, but when I try to post it says I'm not logged in. I've tried it repeatedly. It is rather odd. Does it sound like some to do with my browser (IE)?

Additionally this means I can't delete or edit my posts! So I had to post this new reply to say this instead of editing the first one. And log in again....I won't take it personally
