My review total is 1 lower than it was a day or two ago. (It was a round number, which is why I remember.)

All of my reviews rejected in the last few days were previously pending, not approved.

What has happened?

Were you able to look into mine as well as [matt]'s please?

I can't tell which ones are missing either.

Finally had chance to look at this. I compared reviews you had approved on the 6th of April against all those you had (regardless of status) for the 12th of April. I found a disparity of around 14 reviews- in other words 14 reviews you had on the 6th you seemingly didn't have (declined, pending or otherwise) by the 12th. These reviews were for films such as The Hand, The Hurt Locker and Coraline.

I guess first of all I need to check my above analysis is correct since 14 reviews is a lot more substantial than the 2 you're down by. Did you delete any reviews for the above films between the 6th and 12th?

ADDITIONAL: I've found that, of those 14 reviews, 2 were against 'films' that have been removed from the site, possibly explaining the 2 you lost (these reviews still shouldn't have been deleted however- don't worry I can retrieve them from the backups).

I'm still a bit confused about the other 12 reviews you're down however- either you deleted them so that's why you didn't flag them also or I'm reading the data wrong

The Butler did it.

Yep, as I said, the only declines between when it was 2,250 and 2,249 were definitely only pending beforehand.

Yeah- it could be that a film has been blocked on account of not being classed as a film. Any associated (and previously approved) reviews will automatically become declined.

Salopian- have you checked for any new additions to your declined list?

benj,
I just had a review declined as the film did not exist/was not a film could that possibly explain it?

Hmm... this is going to be kinda' tricky to narrow down without knowing which review you're missing which, I'm guessing, you don't know.

Anyone else had anything like this?

Maybe you came back from the future and forgot. Maybe one of the side-effects of time travel is loss of memory. Maybe it was abducted by aliens. Maybe it was all a dream. Maybe it was stolen. By pixies. Maybe you're counting zero as a number. Maybe the review became self-aware and fled the confines of this website. Maybe it was a ghost. Maybe it was an echo of another review. Maybe it died.

Actually, before I go any further, I'd like to know what the prize is for a correct answer - you didn't specify in your post.
